A: Tickets can be purchased directly on the website via secure online checkout. After purchase, an order confirmation is sent via email. Tickets are sent out two to three weeks before the event.

Q8: Can I upgrade my ticket later?

3. Attendance & Logistics

Q10: Can I attend NDC Copenhagen online or virtually?
A: NDC Copenhagen is an in-person event. Conference talks and workshops are in-person only.

Q11: What should I bring to NDC Copenhagen?
A: Bring a valid ticket confirmation and a laptop if attending workshops. Workshop-specific equipment requirements are sent via email before the event.

Q12: When and how do I receive my ticket?
A: Tickets are sent out about two to three weeks prior to the event. Print or show the digital ticket at registration to receive your badge.

Q13: What happens if I can’t attend? Can I get a refund or transfer my ticket?
A: If the conference is cancelled or postponed, tickets will remain valid, and can be used at the next in-person event. Alternatively, attendees can opt for a full refund, or attend online.

A: You will be staying at a hotel situated close to the conference venue. More info will be sent out closer to the event.


4. Workshops & Conference Schedule

Q17: How is NDC Copenhagen structured?
A: NDC Copenhagen is a four-day event: two pre-conference workshop days followed by two days of conference sessions covering various tracks and topics.

Q18: How do I book workshops?
A: Workshops can be selected during ticket purchase. If not selected initially, a workshop registration email is sent prior to the event.

Q19: Are sessions recorded?
A: Conference talks are recorded and published on the NDC Conferences YouTube channel about a month after the event. Workshops are not recorded.

Q20: Can I switch between workshops?
A: Workshop attendance is generally fixed due to limited capacity. If you would like to switch to another workshop, please contact the NDC Copenhagen Team.


5. Speaking & Participation

Q21: How can I become a speaker at NDC Copenhagen?
A: NDC Copenhagen accepts speaker submissions through its Call for Papers process. Proposals must meet guidelines and deadlines, which are announced on the website.

Q22: What is the review process for speaker proposals?
A: Proposals are reviewed by the NDC Copenhagen Agenda Committee. Selected speakers are notified and may be asked to provide additional information or presentation materials.

Q23: Are speakers compensated for travel and accommodation?
A: Travel and accommodation are covered for speakers who are not considered local. Selected speakers also get a 2-day conference pass.

A: Conference talk recordings are published on the NDC Conferences YouTube channel. Workshops are not recorded.

Q25: Will slides or presentation materials be available?
A: Slides are available if the speaker has opted to share them. Links are usually posted on the NDC Copenhagen attendee Slack channel.
