Building a Safer Digital World using Concordium with Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP)

Room 5 - Level 5
11:40 - 12:40
(UTC+02

Talk (60 min)

Friday
In this session, we will have 3 sections including a cryptographic primitives introduction, how Concordium utilizes ZKP, and a real-time demo showcasing ZK in the application layer.
Blockchain

First, we will go over some cryptographic primitives basics and deep dive into the intricacies of ZK. We will start with algorithms & algebra that changed and shaped our lives, the definition of Zero-Knowledge Proofs and applications on blockchains, Sigma Protocols theory and implementation, the Fiat-Shamir heuristic, Pedersen Commitment, and bulletproofs.

Second, we will cover Concordium basics and its ID layer to understand how the cryptographic algorithms are applied.

Finally, we will have a demo session where we will discover how in a real-life scenario Concordium can be used to build a safer digital world.
